When localizing material we often have to convert volume, weight, surface, currency, speed and other units and measures. The “À l’aide” converter can help you do all this and more! Besides, this useful site brings you the latest IT news and has a free dictionary of IT terms that users can check on the site itself or directly on their taskbar if they are Mozilla/Firefox users. On the other hand, if you are looking for synonyms to avoid repetitions or for antonyms, this online Thesaurus is just what you need!

If your query involves the English language, an interesting English<->French dictionary is the one on TV5’s website, which not only has definitions, but also shows information relating to synonyms, conjugation and style. And of course the French Language section at the bottom of the page is not to be missed!

Not what you were looking for? Are your queries technical related or involving the German language? Here is a good German/French technical glossary. The LEO dictionary is another great multilingual tool, enabling searches from English<->German, French<->German and Spanish<->German. Or just check the Bosch Encyclopaedia of Power Tools, that comes with a multilingual lexicon and E-learning sections about woodworking, stoneworking, measuring and hammertechnology. After all this, if you still have doubts about which term to use or just want to check which of two given terms is the one most used, Google Fight can give you a quick answer!
